But we also know that you have to have a business well established enough that you can draw yourself away from it for long enough to invest time into something new. It’s very easy to make money from marketing, both as a business and as someone who is just looking to make some extra money. Affiliate marketing is one that we wanted to talk about. It’s a popular way of making money and it’s often glamorized by those that know how to make money from it. If you don’t have a clue and you’re not wanting to learn, then there is probably no point in even attempting it. For those of you who are, we’ll give a little explanation as to what it is. Well, affiliate marketing is a way for brands and marketers to make a lot of money. Brands often generate a lot of revenue from affiliate marketers, therefore it pays so well. The affiliate earns an agreed commission by marketing that product or company. So you see, this is a super-easy way that you can make money online. All you need is a successful website, which you could have if you decided to start a blog, and you’re on your way to making some money from brands. Blogging is something we’re going to go onto in the next section. If you do have a blog or some sort of website, you could also go into Google Adsense. You can sign up for free and it’s easy to use. All your website or blog has to do is host an advertisement on behalf of a brand, and you’ll get a small fee every time someone clicks on the advert. These are both just easy ways to be able to make some money without having to think into it too much!
Blogging & Vlogging
Blogging and vlogging is a great way to make money, so we understand why so many people are making the jump to go an do it. There’s so much money to be made from it, so much so that blogging and vlogging are what many people do around the world as a full-time job. There are also a lot of videographers who are profiting from this by following vloggers around who are making a lot of money. Both are super easy to get into and low investment. Vlogging is more of an investment because you have to buy a camera and all of the editing software to make the videos. Some would argue that making the videos and being creative in that way is far more fun. So, we’ll start with blogging first. It’s a super-easy way to make money because all you need is the money to buy a domain name and the money to put hosting. You might even want to buy a theme and have someone create you a banner. But all of that together is going to cost the bare minimum. You then need to decide on what sorts of things you’d like to write about, and get writing. All you have to do is write about your life, the things you’re doing, a few reviews, and whatever else you want to do. You’ll gain a natural following over time as long as you take an interest in other bloggers. When you do have a bigger following is when you’re going to be able to make money from your blog. Vlogging is the same expect your initial investment is going to be for the camera and software. Creating a Youtube channel is easy, getting the following isn’t. It can take months, maybe even a year or so to gain even just a thousand people watching your videos. Always keep the content fun and interesting and follow the Youtube trends to find more success.
Sponsorships
Sponsorships are a great way for a business to make money without it having to do anything or put any real effort into it. The real effort comes from trying to find out what you’re going to sponsor and what the deal is going to be. It all depends on what money you have to spare. You could invest in sporting events and make small amounts of money back. You could invest in certain athletes and have a sponsorship deal with them that also makes you money. But with this, it has to be a two-way street. The people you’re sponsoring has to like you as a person and a business. It’s not just a case of handing over some money and never speaking to them again. There are many other things that you could sponsor that are not sporting events or athletes, so get doing some research.
Business Investment
A business investment might suit you the most. If you have a keen interest in small businesses who need the support, and you have a vision with them, this could be the perfect idea for you. It works the same as with sponsorship. You’ll invest some money and have a percentage back off whatever they make. It’s an easy way to make money if you invest in the right business. Some people invest in completely the wrong businesses and wind up in financial trouble.
