Different Advertising Options To Catch Customer’s Eyes

Estimated reading time: 2 mins

Online marketing is all the rage nowadays, and that’s no surprise. Since the dawn of smartphones, the average person spends 24 hours online every week, which is twice as much as it was before iPhones and Google Pixels entered the world. And this is just the average. There are undoubtedly many, many people who are online nearly all-week long. This could be because of work, or because they need to keep up with what’s going on in the world.

You may have noticed, though, that you can quickly get fatigued by online marketing, at least in the way we are bombarded by ads, promotional emails, and strangely specific recommendations when we log onto Amazon. Instead of irritating your customers with these strategies, why not try something different and still catch their eye?

Host an Event

Hosting an event is a fantastic way for a new business to get noticed when starting up in a new area. There are plenty of options to choose from for your event, too. You can go for a charitable cause or fundraising event, but you can also invite people down for the grand opening.

Not only will this give them obligation-free exposure to your business, but it will also give everyone a chance to meet you, and this helps them put a face to a brand name. You can interact directly with potential customers, and you get to show them your human side. By proving you’re not just there to take your money, you’ll be able to integrate into the local community more naturally.

Ads on Wheels

Leasing or purchasing used vans with your company name, logo and contact details provides what is virtually free advertising. As your company grows, so too will your fleet of vehicles, so you can spread the word about who you are more effectively as you draw more eyes to your business every time you pass potential customer on the street.

They may not need your services now, but seeing your logo and knowing what you do could keep you in the backs of their minds for the future so that whenever they do need your service, they’ll know who to call first.

Get Your Voice Heard

It would help if you did everything you can to become an expert in your industry, but no one is going to believe you are unless you show them. Work with local businesses and post guest articles on their blog, and use your blog, too.

You can distribute these articles across social media, so they are easily shared across the internet, and if possible, try to get an interview with the local newspaper. You can also take advantage of local causes and write or speak about the issues facing the community. This will show you are committed to helping to improve the community, whether that’s by increasing employment opportunities or helping to clean up pollution and litter around wildlife reserves close by.

Catching The Eye

Customers prefer feeling they are not being sold to, even when you know that they are. By using more subtle ways to market your business, you can bring in more business, and maybe also save a little money along the way.
